- I write these words on Sunday July 3rd 2005. one day after the Live 8 Event.
- I find that I have been catapaulted into reflective mood.
I confess to seeing this extraordinary event as a powerful landmark in an ever increasing Aquarian current, global in scope, enabled by technology, humanitarian in intent, creative, radical even revolutionary in purpose, this outpouring of the human spirit shouted its reprimand to the traditional power holders and demanded to be heard. Here are all the hallmarks of the Aquarian current: Uranus (the co- ruler of Aquarius) as both the revolutionary force and the electrical current, Saturn, the force for the conservation of boundaries and the weighty embodiment of the traditional. As co-rulers Saturn and Uranus now stand directly opposed to one another. And what of Aquarius itself, as ruler of the 11th House, Aquarius, represented by the Water Bearer, pours out the new living waters of mind, inspiration and vision to All. Aquarius alone of the four fixed zodiacal signs is symbolized by a human figure and the hallmarks of Aquarian consciousness are a growing sense of the global family, the family of humanity. As our attention shifts towards Africa, I am reminded that humanity began its long evolutionary trek from here, Africa is the Mother to the human family.
Where others saw the greatest rock gig in history, I saw a global ritual, a litany of familiar words suddenly magnified in meaning, which brought heart and mind into unison. Across ten centres around the world, massed humanity shared in the mass of humanity, moments of joyous ecstasy and flight into rapture, carried the whole towards separate reflection seamlessly and invisibly. Spoken words were dropped like ripe seeds; billions received the sacrament. And I was reminded forcibly of other spoken words which suddenly now seem worth sharing: These are the words of the Oracle of Isis delivered at the World Parliament of Religions 1993, which was yet another marker on this long road of transition from age to age.

Beloved Family, Sons and Daughters of the Divine One. Happy am I that you call upon me even at this eleventh hour. For know that this is truly the eleventh hour for your world. I implore you to answer to the call to action from the heart. Look first to the past. For the past and future are one. The injustices, miseries, cruelties and oppression of nation upon nation have scarred and divided the human family. Hold up the mirror to the collected reflection of you all. Gaze deeply and see what you will see. When you have looked upon the consequences of past actions and deeds, seek forgiveness one from another. Seek forgiveness nation from nation. Seek forgiveness from the Earth, for you are all at fault. Hardest of all beloved, be prepared to forgive those who have wounded you deepest. Begin the work of reconciliation and forgiveness with a good heart and Divine Grace will be bestowed upon your labours. You cannot carry the burdens of the past; ego, violence, cruelty, oppression, lust, power, hatred and injustice into the future. These may not pass through the portal. All must be reconciled here by you.
The door to your common future is open. Beyond it shines a light so brilliant and dazzling that none have seen its full glory and splendour. The light will lead you. Let it be shared by all, it belongs to all for you are all Divine. Extend the hand of love across race, creed, colour. Cross all barriers. Let nothing divide that which is already whole. Come, cross the Great Waters to your future. It is your destiny to arrive. There is a blessing on all who serve.
