THE MYSTERIES OF ISIS & OSIRIS

At Hawkwood College, Stroud, Glos. 19-22 August 2010

This is a rare opportunity to participate in the shared enactment of The Mysteries of Isis and Osiris. These ancient mysteries reliving the death and resurrection of Osiris stand at the source of the Western Mystery Tradition and will be of special interest to anyone working within the tradition. Embodying the great human themes of love and loss, this story speaks directly to the heart. The weekend will include group meditation, reflection and ritual as we enact the stages of loss and renewal in this classic initiatory drama. This ancient myth of triumph over death is as potent today as it was in the distant past. The weekend will be experiential and transformative; its gifts bring a sense of rebirth and the greening of the heart

Led by a priestess of rare quality, this course opens up the fascinating world of the sacred traditions of Egypt at a time when the core of Western society is being dismembered. As Osiris, the Good God, the green-faced God of death and renewal, was tricked by treachery, made vulnerable by trust, so likewise we have been betrayed by trust. The family of humanity now has unprecedented opportunity to recognise itself as never before and discover Isis, the winged Goddess of Ten Thousand Names, whose infinite compassion seeks out the dismembered beloved to preside over the Mysteries of Rebirth in the infinite cycle of being and becoming which makes the world new again. NAOMI OZANIEC
Naomi has been involved in the Western Mystery Tradition for over thirty years. She is the Director of Studies in The House of Life a contemporary mystery school rooted in Khemetic and Hermetic traditions and was the Oracle of Isis at the World Parliament of Religions in Chicago in 1993. Naomi is the author of many books, including Elements of Egyptian Wisdom, Daughter of the Goddess, The Chakras, Teach Yourself Meditation.

CAITLIN MATTHEWS
Caitlín is a teacher of the Western Mysteries, specializing in the ancestral traditions. She is the author of over 50 books including Sophia Goddess of Wisdom, Walkers Between Worlds and Voices of the Goddess. She teaches worldwide.
