THE MYSTERIES OF ISIS & OSIRIS
A FíOS Masterclass led by NAOMI OZANIEC introduced & assisted by CAITLíN MATTHEWS This is a rare opportunity to participate in the shared enactment of The Mysteries of Isis and Osiris. These ancient mysteries reliving the death and resurrection of Osiris stand at the source of the Western Mystery Tradition and will be of special interest to anyone working within the tradition. Embodying the great human themes of love and loss, this story speaks directly to the heart. The weekend will include group meditation, reflection and ritual as we enact the stages of loss and renewal in this classic initiatory drama. This ancient myth of triumph over death is as potent today as it was in the distant past. The weekend will be experiential and transformative; its gifts bring a sense of rebirth and the greening of the heart
Led by a priestess of rare quality, this course opens up the fascinating world of the sacred traditions of Egypt at a time when the core of Western society is being dismembered. As Osiris, the Good God, the green-faced God of death and renewal, was tricked by treachery, made vulnerable by trust, so likewise we have been betrayed by trust. The family of humanity now has unprecedented opportunity to recognise itself as never before and discover Isis, the winged Goddess of Ten Thousand Names, whose infinite compassion seeks out the dismembered beloved to preside over the Mysteries of Rebirth in the infinite cycle of being and becoming which makes the world new again. It is with great delight that the Foundation for Inspirational and Oracular studies invites Naomi to present this powerful initiatory course. Sponsored by the FOUNDATION FOR INSPIRATIONAL and ORACULAR STUDIES Re-enchanting the Soul: Restoring the Sacred Arts BCM Hallowquest, London WC1N 3XX, U.K. Students are kindly asked to bring a white robe or white clean clothing for the rituals. Course begins 6.30pm with dinner on 19th and ends 1pm with lunch on 22nd.

The Dion Fortune Conference at The Southville Centre, Bristol Saturday 2 October 10.00 -5.00 tickets are £30 which includes luch
The speakers are:
Dion Fortune in the Light of the West – Bob Gilbert For Dion Fortune, the heart of Britain was Glastonbury, but it was not her only link with the West of England. Many of the formative influences upon her were rooted in the west, as were the more colourful individuals who intruded upon her career. Are her life and her legacy a mere reflection of these, or did she outshine them at the end ? The Psychologist and the Psychopath Dion Fortune and Aleister Crowley Geraldine Beskin
DF and AC have arguably done more separately and together to shape Western magic as we now know it. Though both taught by religious fanatics, they became teachers and fervent magicians. Their personal involvement is becoming more known and what and how they learnt from each other is of huge significance. They explored and wrote about the same things, ran their own magical societies after the potent but ill-fitting Golden Dawn and shaped us all; strange bedfellows but enduring ones.
In The Footsteps of Dion Fortune – Marian Green
As a psychologist and magician, Marian Green has been following in the footsteps of Dion Fortune throughout her life as an occult teacher and writer. Her long practical experience offers a fascinating validation of DF’s work both as occult theory and occult fiction.
Dion Fortune – Magic, Mysticism and Mystery School – Naomi Ozaniec
DF’s work has inspired a generation of magicians, but what of the mysticism at the heart of her teachings? What is the relationship between these two modes of experience? Does Mystery School have any value today? These fundamental questions are central to understanding DF’s legacy.
